On May 20, according to official news, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced today the appointment of Katherine Reilly as Acting Inspector General. Ms. Reilly currently serves as Deputy Inspector General of the SEC. She will succeed Ms. Deborah Jeffrey, who has served as Inspector General of the SEC since 2023 and is about to retire.
