The Israeli military found the body of Hamas leader Mohammed Sinwar.

On May 18, Jin10 reported that the body of Muhammad Sinwar, the actual commander of the armed organization affiliated with Hamas, was found in a tunnel in Khan Younis. Last week, the Israel Defense Forces had attacked him here. Reports indicate that the Israeli military also found the bodies of 10 of Sinwar's aides. Muhammad Sinwar is the brother of Yahya Sinwar, the former Hamas leader in Gaza who was killed by the Israel Defense Forces in southern Gaza last October. Additionally, reports indicate that there is evidence suggesting that Muhammad Shabana, the commander of the Rafah Brigade affiliated with Hamas, also died in the airstrike. Israel has not yet confirmed the deaths of Sinwar and Shabana.
