Review of the 2nd Web3 Privacy Hacker Marathon on Oasis Network

Hackathon Summary

The Privacy 4 Web3 Hackathon: 2nd Edition, hosted by Oasis Network, attracted 50 registered projects and 149 developers. The focus of the event is to provide customizable and interoperable privacy solutions for Web3 and AI. The total prize pool is $130,000, with development work centered around Oasis' Sapphire EVM and Runtime Off-chain Logic (ROFL) framework. These technologies are integral to the Hackathon.

The main sponsors include PixelRealm and Aethir, which provide decentralized GPU infrastructure to support the advancement of AI and gaming. Google Cloud provides up to 2,000 US dollars in cloud computing service credits to participants. The event provides practical experience and networking opportunities, promoting community development and integration within the Oasis ecosystem.

This Hackathon highlighted the potential of Oasis as a first-layer blockchain for confidential applications, as well as supporting Ocean Protocol's broader goals of enhancing data privacy and innovation. By encouraging new projects and community interaction, the event supported the ongoing development of Web3 technology.
